“A haunting, calm before the storm intro sees it free its shackles with a full on, drum driven slice of power metal par excellence, as a spotlight stealing, heart melting lead vocal, soars skywards in the luscious choruses. Keyboards add soothing swathes that flow around the metal mayhem whipped up by a band on top of their game.”
- Dennis Jarman, Heads Up North Manchester Radio
“Little did I know we would be treated to a powerful 8 minute song that really puts lead singer Olivia Guetle on the map. Fans of female fronted symphonic metal bands like Nightwish should check this band out. Powerful vocals, excellent production on the instruments…it has everything fans should be looking for".”
- Jeremy Brown , Rock 4 Him Radio
“Well this is Divine Martyrs’ Magnum Opus… Quite literally this to me is musical perfection. Don’t let the 8 min time scare you off.. once the song is over, you will 100% want to play it again!”.”

Forever (single)
Release Date: 7.10.2023
Christian symphonic and power metal band Divine Martyr follows up their latest opus, "Truth", by releasing their cover version of "Forever", which was originally released by Kari Jobe in 2014. Instead of just a straight pop cover, Divine Martyr cranked the volume up to 11. From lead singer Olivia Guetle’s powerful, soaring vocals, to the orchestration and the guitars, this has it all. This cover version, in my opinion, is perfect. It far exceeds the original in tone and in power. If you're looking for a new worship song to add to your collection, this one is the perfect addition. It's available anywhere and everywhere music is sold.

Truth (single)
Release Date: 12.2.2022
Check out this glowing review from Jamsphere!
If you are one of those who crave more ornate, heavier and intricate music. If you are looking for music that blends muscle and melody, poignancy and poise. If you are a fan of epic, cinematic music. Music that blends grace with grandeur, groove with grind. Or, if you are just a fan of great music delivered with power and panache, Divine Martyr is the band for you.
Truth is a complex beast. That is true of the concept in general, for sure, but it is also true, musically speaking, of the new single from the band. But for all of its dark designs and brooding vibes, its impressive BPM count, not to mention the speed at which they fire off salvos of bass lines and spiralling guitar riffs, bruising back beats and percussive punctuation, Truth is a totally accessible song.
Heavy, but not in the gratuitous, showboating sort of way that many metal bands are happy to settle for. Here is a song with addictive tones and infectious textures, baroque washes and incendiary vocal deliveries, but it is also deft and danceable, groovesome and gorgeous.
If only all metal could reach such benchmarks!

Mystique (single)
Release Date: 6.24.2022
“Mystique is a beautiful instrumental. The orchestration is great, and I loved the interplay between Olivia Guetle’s cello and Jason Hyde’s lead guitar. The production is top notch.”

Fear (single)
Release Date: 6.10.2022
“Fear is impressively powerful both in its sound and its message. A thundering backing instrumental combines with a brilliant vocal performance to give a satisfying, heavy overall feel to the song. I found myself especially impressed by vocalist Olivia Guetle’s prowess; her voice has an exceptional amount of raw power but also features a degree of tenderness and unmistakable sincerity, really bringing the overall message of the lyrics she sings to life in a way that is resonant.”
“We all have certain fears that may consume our lives, this song not only brings us to this realization, but encourages us to come from the darkness into the light. This song will leave you inspired by realizing that you truly have nothing to "Fear.“”
